This past week we spent four days exploring Tampa. The kids were still off of school for winter break so I figured it might be nice to get away for a few days. We had never been to Tampa and it was only about a 3 1/2 hour drive from our house. One the way there we visited the new Legoland that opened in October. It was a great amusement park! I wasn't sure what to expect but the kids were the perfect age to visit and Jeff got his roller coaster fix. While in Tampa we also visited the Museum of Science and Industry, the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, and Apollo Beach. We also surprised the kids with a tickets to the circus (a last minute decision since it was at the arena across from our hotel) and night of bowling. It was a jammed packed, fun-filled four days. The best part was that nothing was crowded because most kids across the state and even the country were already back at school. I put together a photo book of our trip. Click below to check it out!
