Another Weekend of Disney Fun!

Last weekend Jeff headed to Virginia for a family wedding. I wish we all could of joined him but with the cost of airfare, rental car, lodging, etc. it just wasn't feasible for us to all go. Luckily my parents had a 2-bedroom timeshare in Orlando for the week. Since Jeff was gone, the kids and I headed up there on Saturday to enjoy the Marriott Lakeshore Reserve Timeshare and spend a day at EPCOT (love our weekday Disney pass!). We also had a chance to see my cousin Wayland and his wonderful wife Jessica who happened to be in town. Actually, Wayland is there for about six weeks training for his new job as a Jet Blue pilot. It had been a couple years since I saw Jessica and even longer since I last saw Wayland since he was usually working when we visited Maryland. In fact, we don't think he had even ever met Daniel. They joined us at the timeshare and we spent the day at the pool (of course I forgot to take pictures with them!). We all had fun on the waterslides, except Daniel who unfortunately was not tall enough to go on (42" height requirement). But I went down -probably the first time in 15 years I've been on a water slide and I felt like a kid again!. On Monday I went to EPCOT with the kids and my parents. Even though Daniel wasn't tall enough for the water slide at the hotel, we were hoping Daniel was going to be tall enough to ride Soarin'. The height requirement was 40 inches and he was just about that height. When we walked up to the line, he stood in front of the pole and the man said "He's good!" we all cheered and ran to get on the ride! Luckily the park was pretty empty on Labor day so we even got to ride it twice! He was also tall enough to ride Test Track so all of us went on it - even Allison who isn't a big fan of "big kid" rides. I had never been on it before either and we all thought it was fun. I didn't take too many pictures on this trip - most of them were taken in the pool. Here's a few from our fun weekend:

Allison took this photo of me. Great photographer!
