On day three of our trip we decided to go back to one of our favorite places in San Jose: Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. The kids probably don't even remember there is a zoo there because we didn't make it past the rides this time, but that's okay because they were having a blast on the rides! Daniel couldn't wait to go on the roller coaster. Allison, on the other hand, remembered riding it last time and decided it was a little too rough for her so she took a pass. Jeff is just happy to have one kid that likes roller coasters as much as he does. I think they rode the roller coaster twice (the line was a bit long). The first time they sat in the second row:
Jeff also managed to get a recording of Daniel during the entire ride:
The second time they managed to get a seat in the front row!
Their other favorite ride was the Frog Hopper. It's kind of like a Tower of Terror but for little kids (and Jeff):
That picture just cracks me up! I think the kids went on it about 7 or 8 times - even more than daddy! The kids also enjoyed the police car/firetruck ride:
After some fun on the rides, we hung out with Samara on a nice plot of grass:
And the kids had fun with daddy:
The weather was just gorgeous (high 70's) and a nice break from the Florida summer heat and humidity. On our way out, we checked out the new pedestrian bridge that they built that leads to....a parking lot! Yeah, we didn't really get it either but it was a nice looking bridge and my engineer of a husband was happy to check it out:
And there you have it - day three of our trip was lots of fun! Coming soon...our day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium!

What great pictures. So nice to see Samara part of the action. I loved the video of Daniel. I know how much he loves roller coasters. Its amazing that Jeff was able to capture this. Grandma
