Allison has been waiting to lose a tooth for quite some time now. Most of her friends in her class have lost many of their teeth and she has yet to lose one. This past week, however we've gotten one step closer to losing a tooth. One of her top front teeth is hanging on by a thread. It's been loose for a while but when we were in Disney last week, it really started too loosen up, to the point that she could make it stick straight out and almost twist it around. Of course she's too scared to just yank the thing out, as am I. Last night, instead of reading a book at bedtime, Allison wanted to write in her notebook, so I told her okay and to put the notebook and pencil on the floor when she was done and ready to go to sleep. This morning I went to wake her up and after she was awake, she reached under her pillow and pulled out the notebook. What she wrote had me in stitches:
Yes, my 6 year old is doubting the tooth fairy! Guess she'll have to wait until she actually loses her tooth to find out if the tooth fairy is real or not...
UPDATE: Just picked Allison up from school and her tooth fell out today! The tooth fairy better be getting ready!!
