Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday! Here's what Allison, age 5 and Daniel, age 2 1/2 had to say this past week:
Daniel: "I'm two, Allison's 5." Then he looks at me with a very inquisitive face and asks "What's yours?"
Me: What's my what?
Daniel: What's your number?
Me: Oh, I'm 33.
Daniel: What about Riley?
Me: He's 9.
Daniel: What about daddy?
Me: 34.

Allison: Sometimes I look at Daniel and he doesn't look like someone named Daniel.
Me: Oh really? What does he look like? What name should we have given him?
Allison: John

Allison: Mommy, I know what ninjas are. They hunt down people.
Me: Where did you learn that?
Allison: School. We're learning about ninjas.
Me: You're really learning about ninjas at school?
Allison:Because we're learning about Japan.
Me: Oh, okay, now I guess that makes sense.

We're going through the process of trying to name our baby due in May... so your daughter thinking her brother should be named "John" is too funny:)
