Dear Miles,
I'm writing this letter to try and express how special you were to all of us. It is so hard to accept that you were only in this world for such a short time but we will never forget you. I knew you were magnificent from the minute you were born and given all of your obstacles it's amazing you were able to carry on and give your parents many opportunities to hold and hug you and allow them to capture a glimpse of your personality. I know each and every minute your parents were able to spend with you was more precious to them than anything else. They will cherish this time forever. I'm happy I had the opportunity to meet you and hold your little hand, even though it was brief, and you were only a few days old. It was hard for me to leave my little ones and travel across the country but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. You're cousins, Allison and Daniel, saw many pictures of you and talked about you often. They loved to draw pictures for you and even though they never had the chance to meet their wonderful little cousin you will always be in their hearts. And your Uncle Jeff loved you just as much of as the rest of us. We know you are in a better place now, watching over all of us. Rest in peace my little nephew. We love you.
Love,
Aunt Amy
