Back to Normalcy (I think)

Well we seem to have all survived the awful stomach bug. Not sure if it was norovirus or what but it was not fun and somehow I seemed to have it the worst. It started with Daniel on Friday - he managed to get sick all over Jeff and the couch. That was fun. Then I managed to get sick Sunday night - luckily Jeff was here to take care of the kids and me too. I was somewhat better on Monday but still a bit weak. Jeff was somewhat ill on Monday but somehow men don't handle sickness as well, go figure (sorry Jeff, but you know it's true). Allison woke up Tuesday with a tummy ache so I kept her home from school but she turned out to be okay - thank goodness. During all of this, the poor dog managed to get fleas so he's been scratching himself like crazy. We finally took care of that issue yesterday and I think he is okay now. We gave him some medications and Jeff gave him a nice long shower. I wanted to take some pictures but he wouldn't let me. The poor dog looks so pathetic when he's wet. He just kept looking at me through the shower door saying "save me, please!". It was for his own good though and no more itching today. So I think we are all on the road to recovery and our lives can return to normal again (whatever normal is!).
