I think I have enough Tiny Talk this week to almost make up for my lack thereof this past year. Apparently Allison and Daniel had a lot to say! So let's get to it....
Allison: Daniel, don't be so diva.
Daniel: What does that mean?
Allison: That you only care about your self.
Daniel: Don't be so "Care about yourself" that doesn't make any sense.
Daniel: God gave me the wrong eyes.
Me: What do you mean? What type of eyes was he supposed to give you?
Daniel: I was supposed to have blue but he gave me brown.
Allison was begging one evening to go out to dinner, and this conversation ensued:
Me: You know, when I was growing up we were lucky if we went out once a week.
Allison: That's because it was the 1900's.
Me: So?
Allison: There weren't as many inventions and things around then. (way to make a mom feel old)
Daniel: I know why today is called Good Friday.
Me: Why?
Daniel: Because there is no school and it's Passover.
Daniel: It's weird, chilly outside means it's cold but chili you eat is hot. So if you eat chili on a cold day you will be warm. (that's my little genius!)
Daniel was playing around in the front passenger seat of the car while we were parked and waiting for Allison at school. He was examining all the cool buttons and stuff and asked me the funniest questions. All of which made complete sense but did match their intended purpose. In fact, I think his interpretation made even more sense that what the buttons were really for!
If it's AM when you start your car, do you push this button?
What about when there is a passenger in your car, do you push this button?
And mommy, do you push that button when you want to do a U-Turn?
Oh these kids crack me up!
