Daniel's Breakfast with Daddy

Last Friday morning, Daniel's preschool hosted a "breakfast with daddy" event. Daniel doesn't normally go to school on Friday's but they let him come in with his daddy for this special event. The first thing they did was eat some donuts and then the kids gathered and sang a couple songs for their daddies. Here they are singing their hearts out. I wasn't sure how Daniel was going to do because he's never really performed in front of an audience but based on this video, he was definitely trying. He was at a slight disadvantage since he only goes to school 3 days a week and most of the kids go five days so they had more time to learn the song.

After the singing it was time for a guessing game. The kids had drawn pictures of their daddies earlier in the week and the daddies had to guess which picture their kid had drawn. All the pictures were hung up on the wall in a row. Jeff was the second daddy to have to pick the correct portrait. Amazingly (according to him), he picked his picture out on the first try (apparently the blue eyes gave it away):

Leading up to the event, each child worked with their teachers to make a book for their daddy. Here is the book the teachers put together, with Daniel's input of course:

Daniel greatly enjoyed his special time with daddy at school!
