Patriotic at Age 3?

Despite the crappy election results (yes personal opinion, but seriously, what's wrong with these people in Florida???...I'm a little (okay A LOT) nervous about the next four years) there is still a sense of devotion to our country in this house. A few weeks ago, Daniel saw a flag while driving down the road and said "I have to say the pledge of allegiance." I was quite surprised he was familiar with the pledge but was even more surprised when he recited it word for word. Apparently they say it at preschool everyday (I had no idea!). So I decided to get it on video:

Daniel still insists on saying the pledge every time he sees a flag. Made me realize how many flags are actually out there. We were driving down the road the other day and he must have said the pledge at least ten times during a five minute span. I guess I have a patriotic little boy.

Let us know when he learns to sing the national anthem -- and let's hope he sings less than he recites.
