Jeff's Big Adventure: The End is Here!

Two years ago, Jeff embarked on a journey that we knew would be time-consuming and challenging but he was excited and up to the task. Today, that journey ends. It's his last day of graduate school, where he has been studying for an MBA at the University of Florida. The program, required him to attend classes all day Saturday and Sunday every third weekend - non-stop for two years, and I'm proud to say we both survived! When the program started, Daniel was only a year old and Allison had just turned four. I remember thinking at the time how when he graduated, Allison would be getting ready to start first grade and Daniel would be starting school for the first time. It just seemed so far away. Yes, here we are, two years later. It won't say it went by fast, believe me, those weekends without Jeff were long and it always seemed the kids managed to get sick right before a school weekend. But we made it! Many projects, tests, and group meetings later Jeff is thrilled to finally be able to focus on something other than business plans and corporate strategies. I always teased Jeff that he wanted to go back to school because he couldn't stand the fact that I had a higher degree than him, but the truth is, the knowledge he gained from the program will hopefully help him achieve his own goals and dreams. While I can't go into specifics, he was big plans. We'll see what the future holds. In the meantime, I look forward to having my husband back. Congratulations Jeff!
