Tiny Talk Tuesday

Welcome to Tiny Talk Tuesday! Here's what Allison, age 5 and Daniel age 2 1/2 had to say this past week:

Allison (on thanksgiving morning): Mommy, I don't feel very well. I swallowed an apple seed and now I think I have the flu.

Daniel: Where's my cookie? (looking down at his plate with a very concerned look on his face.)
Me: You ate it!
Daniel: Oh...

Papa: You have carrot stickers on your shirt.1...2...3...4...5. You have 5 carrots.
Daniel: No 18 carrots!

Jeff (while trying to run wires in the attic): This would be a lot easier if I just hired somebody
Allison: But then it would cost money. If you do it this way, it costs no money. Or maybe you could call your neighbor.
Daniel: Or Bubber or Bubby (Daniel's imaginary friends).

Me: Daniel, do you remember when you were a baby and you would scream your head off in the car when it was dark out?
Allison: I don't remember that. Then how did we fix it? How did we put his head back on? (and she said that in all seriousness! Jeff and I got a good laugh out of that one!)

I had a football game on and had to leave the room for a second. When I returned, Allison said "Mommy, your game is back on. They just did the thing where they all go on top of each other."
